This checklist, the first one established in Morocco, includes 126 families, 2185 species and 634 subspecies. By extending it to ali endemie, rare or threatened taxa, the authors expect to reach two goals : I) presenting to ali investigators interested by Moroccan flora the part of this patrimony which is stili poorly known, until the projected publication of the Practieal Flora of Morocco and the new Checklist of Moroccan plants ; 2) giving to scientists and managers abasie useful list, to the former for their research and to the latter for establishing the necessary management protection plans. Conceming taxonomieal aspect, 28 new combinations are proposed.
