New distributional records of native and non-native vascular plants in Italy

Abstract

New or revised plant records of 42 taxa (species and subspecies) are reported for Italy, of which 25 are natives and 17 aliens. Hypericum richerii subsp. grisebachii is new for Italy, Dianthus carthusianorum subsp. atrorubens is new for central Italy, and another 12 natives and aliens are new or confirmed for Umbria, nine for Abruzzo, 11 for Molise, four for Lazio and one for Marche, Basilicata, Campania and Calabria. Eight taxa are to be excluded from the flora of Abruzzo, and one from Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Molise, Campania and Basilicata.
