Demirkoy Town and its surroundings are situated in the heart of Istranca (Yildiz) Mountains. Istranca mountains range from northwest to southeast of European Turkey occupying 3% of tolal area of Turkey. In Ihe present study, 500 plant taxa were identi ied out of 1400 pi anI spccimens .col!ected during a period of 3 years.
