Cystoseira jabukae Ercegovic, a Mediterranean endemie previously known from the Adriauc Sea, western Italy (Salerno), Sicily and Sardinia, has been found by the Balearic Islands Mallorca and Cabrera. Morphology and ecology of the collected specimens are discussed.
