Euphorbia hypericifolia L. (Euphorbiaceae) a neophyte native to tropical and sub-tropical Americas with scattered occurrences as alien in many countries within the Mediterranean area is here reported for the first time from several localities in Tunisia. An abbreviated morphological description with original photographs, ecological features with a first map distribution and taxonomic notes, considering comparisons with commonly misidentified related species, are presented
