Trichostomopsis umbrosa (Miill. Hal.) Robins is new to Sicily and Italy, Ditrichum cylindricum (Hedw.) Grout and Tortula israelis Bizot & F. Bilewsky, that are rare in Italy, are recorded for the second time from Sicily. Notes on their corology and ecology are provided.
